On April 10, Chinese Ambassador H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong paid farewell courtesy call to Vice Admiral Mark Mellett DSM, Chief of Staff of Ireland's Defence Forces.

Ambassador Yue conveyed the warm greetings from Mr. Li Zuocheng, member of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and chief of staff of the CMC Joint Staff Department, and thanked for the Irish Chief of Staff's support to China-Ireland friendship and military relations.

Vice Admiral Mark Mellett DSM extended his thanks and best wishes to Mr. Li Zuocheng and expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Yue's contribution to the development of exchanges and cooperation between two countries.

They also friendly exchanged views on wide range of issues of mutual interested.
