Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic settlement area with a rich and unique food culture, which clearly reflects the characteristics of Xinjiang's agricultural and pastoral areas and multi-ethnic groups.

A Taste of China: Journey of Xinjiang Cuisine series of mini - documentaries selects five representative cities in different regions of Xinjiang: Urumqi, Turpan, Altay, Ili, and Kashgar. The unique customs and natural scenery of these different regions and cities in Xinjiang are conveyed through a narrative combining food, humanities and tourism, showing the authentic social spirit and aesthetics of Xinjiang life, creating a deep emotional resonance with the audience.
