China-made Heavy Trucks to Expand in Irish Markets

On 8th June, Commercial Counsellor XUE He of Chinese Embassy in Ireland, visited the show-room, spare-parts warehouse and assembly workshop designed for heavy trucks, vans and buses made in China, invested by Harris Group in Dublin.

Chief Operating Officer John McEvoy of Harris Group told the visitors, Harris Group started to distribute heavy trucks from SINOTRUK, LDV vans from SAIC and HIGER bus from Suzhou HIGER since 2014, and it has developed good cooperation with the Chinese partners since then. The investment in the new facilities shows the confidence and commitment of Harris Group in promoting made-in-China products in Ireland and the Group will continue its efforts to promote Chinese machinery and electronic products in Irish and West European markets.

Mr. XU Wei, the Chairman of the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Ireland also joined in the visit.
