Ambassador Yue meets with Minister for Justice and Equality

On May 29th 2018, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, met with Mr. Charles Flanagan T.D., Minister for Justice and Equality.

Ambassador Yue briefed the Minister about the latest achievements of China-Ireland relations and expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance from Minister Flanagan and his team.

The Ambassador and the Minister also exchanged views on visa facilitation and judicial cooperation between the two countries. They agreed to keep on working for new progress in the Sino-Irish exchanges and cooperation.

Also in attendance were Counsellor Yang Hua, Mr. Pan Haoquan from Chinese Embassy, Mr. Michael Kirrane, Director General of Irish Naturalisation Immigration Service (INIS), and Mr. Gerry McDonagh, Head of Visa Section, INIS.
