Ambassador Yue meets with Taoiseach

On 11th December, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, had a meeting with Taoiseach(Irish Prime Minister) Leo Varadkar T.D.

The Ambassador took the opportunity to brief the Taoiseach about the recently-concluded 19th CPC National Congress and share his perspectives on the key points of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the Congress. They discussed topics of their common concern on the international affairs and bilateral cooperation, and they also expressed their good wishes and strong support for the enhancement of bilateral relations.

Also present at the meeting were Madam Yang Hua, Deputy Head of the Mission, Ms. Luolan Jin, First Secretary of Chinese Embassy, Mr. John Carroll, Special Advisor to the Taoiseach and Mr. George Burke, Principal Officer of the Department of the Taoiseach.
