Ambassador Yue Gives a Breakfast Briefing on 19th CPC Congress

On Thursday, 23rd November 2017, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, attended a breakfast roundtable organized by Ireland China Business Association (ICBA) at the headquarters of A&L Goodbody in Dublin.

Ambassador Yue briefed dozens of participants from Irish business circles about the recently-concluded 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), sharing his perspectives on the key points of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the Congress.

Attendees included Ms. Caroline Devlin, Vice Chairman of ICBA, Ms. Marie O’Brien, Partner of A&L Goodbody, Mr. Ken Duggan, Chairman of Ireland China Institute (ICI), Mr. Brian Daly, Partner of KPMG in Ireland, and representatives of IDA, Brown Thomas, Kildare Village, UCD and other ICBA members as well as Mr. Pan Xiongwen, Chief of Political & Press Section of the Chinese Embassy, and Ms. Jin Luolan, First Secretary of Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy.
