Ambassador Yue attends a Sino-Irish Business Conference

On 10th November 2017, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, attended a grand China-Ireland Business Conference in Dublin, which was co-sponsored and organized by Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Ireland China Business Association, and China Federation of Industrial Economics.

Ambassador Yue in his keynote speech gave a comprehensive briefing to the audience upon the major achievements and significant decisions of the 19th National Congress of the CPC. He also expounded specifically the Belt and Road Initiative and other policy regarding China Reform and Opening-up drive. "We are ready to work together with the friends and partners from the rest of the world to build a community with a shared future for mankind," stressed the Ambassador.

Other speakers and panelists included Madam Mary Rose Burke, CEO of Dublin Chamber, Ms. Susan Barrett, Chairman of Ireland China Business Association, Mr. Xiong Meng, Executive Vice-Chairman and Secretary General of China Federation of Industrial Economics.

Also present at the conference were Madam He Xue, the Commercial Counselor, Mr. Xiongwen Pan, Chief of Political & Press Section of the Chinese Embassy in Ireland, Ms. Luolan Jin, First Secretary from the Economic & Commercial Section.
